RISE TOGETHER

A weekly live gathering for reflection, conversation, and shared wisdom.

Wednesdays at 6:00pm Eastern | Live on Zoom

A weekly space to slow down, be real, and rise together — in the presence of others who value clarity, authenticity, and ease.

What is RISE TOGETHER?

Rise Together is a weekly, hosted space to pause midweek, reconnect with yourself, and engage in honest conversation with others who value clarity, authenticity, and meaningful connection.

This is not a class, workshop, or performance.

There is no pressure to teach, fix, or have anything figured out.

Instead, Rise Together offers a relational field where reflection, shared wisdom, and real presence are welcome — especially for those navigating relationships, personal growth, or life transitions and wanting to rise above old patterns with steadiness and ease.

You’re invited to participate in whatever way feels nourishing.

Listening is participation. Presence is enough.

Who this space is for. . .

Rise Together is for people who are drawn to meaningful connection and honest reflection — especially those who sense they’ve outgrown old patterns and want a steadier, more authentic way of showing up in their lives and relationships.

This space may be especially supportive if you:

  • value depth, presence, and thoughtful conversation

  • feel tired of surface-level interactions or constant self-improvement pressure

  • are navigating relationships, personal growth, or a life transition

  • want to rise above old patterns without fixing or forcing yourself

  • appreciate learning through shared wisdom rather than instruction

You don’t need to have the right words, a clear goal, or a problem to solve.

Curiosity, openness, and a willingness to be present are enough.

This space tends to resonate with people who:

  • want meaningful connection without drama or overwhelm
  • are navigating relationships, personal growth, or life transitions
  • value presence, reflection, and shared wisdom
  • want a reliable place to land each week

What to expect each week:

Each Rise Together gathering is lightly facilitated and grounded in presence rather than performance.

While each week may have a gentle theme, the experience is always responsive to the people in the room. There is no script to follow and no requirement to prepare in advance.

A typical gathering may include:

  • a brief grounding welcome

  • a reflective question or theme to open the space

  • conversation, shared insight, or gentle dialogue

  • a calm, intentional close

You’re always welcome to participate in whatever way feels right for you.

Listening is participation. Sharing is optional. Presence is enough.

Each session stands on its own — you can join any week, as often or as occasionally as feels supportive.

What this is not

Rise Together is not a therapy group, coaching program, or substitute for professional counseling.

While Judy is a licensed psychotherapist, this gathering is offered outside the context of psychotherapy as a facilitated space for reflection, conversation, and connection. No diagnosis, treatment, or clinical intervention takes place in this space.

Rise Together is also not:

  • a place to be fixed or analyzed

  • a requirement to share personal details

  • a space for crisis support or emergency care

If you are in need of therapeutic support or crisis services, we encourage you to seek care from a licensed mental health professional or local resources.

The intention here is simple and grounded:

to create a space where people can be present, reflect honestly, and not do their inner work alone.

About the host:

Rise Together is hosted by Judy Herman, LPC-MHSP a retreat facilitator, relationship coach, and guide who has spent decades working with healers, leaders, and seekers ready to rise above relationship patterns and live with greater clarity, steadiness, and authenticity.

Rise together

A weekly live gathering for reflection, conversation, and shared wisdom is on pause for now

Here’s what going on this week

I would love to meet you face-to-face. If you’re in the Chattanooga, TN area, please stop by on Thursday, May 21st between 11:30 and 1:00 PM at The Historic 1601 Rossville Ave. Chattanooga, TN 37408. I’ll have a table for the annual City Center Expo.

Another face-to-face

place we can meet casually

I realize how much I need face-to-face connection! And if you’re a entrepreneur or business owner (or not) I’m showing up at Aloft Hotel each Tuesday Morning for a networking group called “Morning Cup.”

Let me know if you want to connect after one of the meetings.

Here’s my recent email. .

Be sure to sign up if you’re not on my email list and you want to stay in touch. See the section below this one.

Have you ever entered a season that completely changed everything?

A season where your body, your relationships, or your circumstances suddenly reminded you that life is uncertain?

Maybe you’ve wondered:

“Why does this feel so hard?”
“Will I ever feel like myself again?”
“Now what?”

I get it.

For months, I had been looking forward to honoring  seven decades of my life to be celebrated this month! (my birthday is actually this week)

But last February, out of nowhere, I experienced a major physical setback that forced me to slow down in ways I never expected. It’s been like a “dark night of the soul” that’s lasted far longer than a night.

I’m feeling better now and decided to change the story. Rather than being “forced” to slow down. I’m choosing to slow down and be more aware. Rather than calling it a setback or trauma. It’s now an “initiation” into a higher level of awareness.

Just today, I revisited my own past video teachings about about setbacks, courage, and getting unstuck.

Could my younger self offer wisdom to me now?

Surprisingly… yes.

Not because life is easy.
Not because I had all the answers.
But because the truths still hold up.

Here’s one of the biggest things I know today:

Any kind of pain, disappointment or discouragement holds opportunities for transformation in one way or another. Let’s not waste any of it. There’s purpose and our stories matter.

Judy, overcoming a setback is not about pushing harder. It’s more like learning to listen, grieve, heal, adjust, and move forward with deeper wisdom.

So if you’re going through your own “dark night of the soul,” I want you to know:

You have what it takes to rise above and beyond the pain and into a greater level of awareness. You can change the story. Peace is waiting for you. And you are so worthy of being honored and celebrated!

With warmth & connection,

Judy

P.S. Here’s one of the Youtube teachings “3 Questions to Get Unstuck.”

P.S.P.S. On another note, if you’re in the area, I’d love to see you in person this Thursday from 11:30-1. I’ll have a display table at The City Center Expo Event with my books, retreat information, and speaking materials. Please stop by and say hello.
